Based in the UK for over 50 years, FG Wilson has worked with a multitude of customers in all environments around the world and since 1990 has installed over 600,000 generating sets worldwide, with as much combined electricity generating capacity as the entire UK electricity grid.

The FG Wilson product range covers power ratings from 6.8 to 2,500 kVA. A long list of options means that our standard range can be configured in many ways. From day one, we've always thought of a generator set as a complete package. That kind of thinking has helped us to do some really innovative things, like being one of the first volume manufacturers to integrate a complete generator set inside a canopy, well over 30 years ago.

PRODUCTS AS UNIQUE AS YOU ARE

Some of our customers can walk into a dealership and leave with a generator ready to go, while for others it's a major project. This means working with consultants on load requirements, finding the right genset, designing the complete plant room layout, including exhaust and fuel systems, installation and commissioning.

When you entrust us with your electrical project, you benefit from the full support of over 300 qualified technicians who will back your project from initial design and manufacture through to installation and commissioning.

This ability to design bespoke power projects has always been central to FG Wilson. In the early 1970s, FG Wilson built a strong name in the design, construction and commissioning of mini power plants in the Middle East, often in very inhospitable operating environments.

SEISMIC CERTIFICATION

In many parts of the world, seismic certification is becoming a key requirement for generating sets, particularly when they are installed in large buildings or facilities in urban areas.

In collaboration with our dealer in Turkey, FGW JeneratörIn 2015, we obtained full IBC seismic certification for our P800 and P1700 generating sets. This year, we will also have full IBC seismic certification on our 730 to 2500 kVA at 50 Hz range.

Before a new product reaches one of our customers, it has undergone rigorous testing for load acceptance, cooling, vibration, noise and water ingress. We do not accept performance data without validating it ourselves under the environmental conditions that our products will see. When you buy one of our products, we can safely say that wherever it will operate, it will have been tested for that environment.

Our validation facilities include Europe's largest fully automated hemi-anechoic chamber with state-of-the-art acoustic research and testing capabilities.

QUALITY IS STANDARD

Since 1990, we have installed more than 600,000 generating sets with a total capacity of almost 90 GW, more than the total installed capacity of the electricity grid in a country like the UK. With this number of machines worldwide, we take no chances with quality.
